Dragon Ball Z

The Dragon Ball Z series consists of 291 episodes. The entire story is conventionally divided into four narrative segments, four like the main enemies Son Goku must face and defeat to save Earth and the universe: the Saiyan Saga, the Frieza Saga, the Android Saga, and the Majin Buu Saga. There are two minor sagas not present in the manga: the Garlic Jr. Saga between the Frieza Saga and the Android Saga, and the Galactic Four Tournament Saga between the Android Saga and the Majin Buu Saga. In addition to the titles, the corresponding chapters from the comic are also listed. The term "Original" refers to scenes or episodes (in the case of entire episodes) written from scratch specifically for the anime to extend its running time. These episodes are generally referred to by fans as filler episodes. In Japan, the series aired on Fuji TV from April 26, 1989, to January 31, 1996. In Italy, it premiered on Italia 1. The first two seasons (i.e., up to the end of the Frieza saga) aired in 2000, until the summer. The other four seasons aired from autumn 2000 to April 2001.
