Ninja Kamui

The story follows Joe Higan, a nukenin, a former ninja who ran away from his clan and is trying to hide from his violent past, living in rural America with his family. One night, he is ambushed by his former organization, which demands a blood tribute from him and his family for his betrayal. Awakening from his apparent death, Joe will return as Ninja Kamui to avenge his family and friends. Kamui is a 21st-century ninja, a living anachronism who will pit his ancient techniques against high-tech weaponry. He will face highly trained assassins, cyborgs, and other ninjas to destroy his own clan.
